Artist's Comments

My work so far on my own Star Destroyer design...I call her the Infiltrator- class Imperial "Stealth" Destroyer, mainly because that basically describes her...stealthy ^^;

I've worked hard on this ever since [link] told me that it was a shitty model and that it wasn't even good enough to be put into a game. I promised myself I would show them; I'm working to make this one more detailed than anything they have on their site. I'm not doing it for 'revenge' or anything...it just hurt because they just brushed me off and didn't even give me a chance...I guess I'm just doing it to prove myself ^^;

Anyway, this is what I have so far...still working on her, I know the detail on the bottom is a lot more sparse than on the top--I'm still working on the top and haven't gotten that far yet, that's why ^^;
She doesn't have guns yet; I'm still trying to decide what she would be armed with...something relatively realistic for once compared to other ships in the Star Wars universe.

She's from 4000 years after ROTJ in case you're wondering; that's why she looks a lot more advanced than other Star Destroyer models that are currently online. I'm working to give her fully modeled hangar bays, bridge and some internals. Her engines are thrust-vectoring too, which I figured added a nice touch.

If anyone has any comments or suggestions, I'd love to hear them! ^_^

Excellent concept and design :D
Then after you do all the internals you can do a movie for it.. that's ofcourse after you texture it =P which will be a whole job just on its own ^^;

sexay, looks like a giant manta ray, with all of the required engines and blater turrets for a spacebourn rebel crushing manta ray. seriously though it looks good, i like the brige design a lot

The shape of it tells this is an imperial vessel. Looks much moderner than the older ones. I like the back of it. Now you need to get colors on it and it will be something what everyone should fav. ^.=.^

alright, a star destroyer design!
I love the modified design, but if the
Empire ever got these the rebellion
wouldn't stand a chance.
I think that'd actually look pretty damn good in an
X-Wing/Tie fighter game =p
by stealth, means it has a cloaking device?

Wow awsome! ^^ I especially liek the shape of it! ^^ even though this is an Imperial ship the design looks like of a Naboo ship design, with the tail at the end of the engines ^^ Personally I dont think the ship needs guns, after all it's an infiltrator ship and it's not very combat adaptived^^ Anyways I can't wait to see it have some texture! ^^ and don't let "the man" get you down, I'd love to see it in a Starwars game, but of course I'm going to have to shoot it down and watch it explode XD lol Keep up the GReat work! :D :clap:

Awesome! I'd fly that than any other regular ship. Its got a cool sleek design and looks as if it could deal out some damage. Can't wait to see what else you've got.

well even though this looks like crossbreed between mon calamari ships and imperial ships it looks good. you see that making your own models instead taking some one eleses and modifiying them it somewhat more revarding
